The Solvi Story

Solvi3D was born from a love of houseplants and a frustration familiar to many plant parents – fungus gnats! In 2025, we decided to turn our passion for indoor plants into something practical by designing and producing stylish semi-hydroponic plant pots that make plant care simpler and more enjoyable.

Based in Cornwall, UK, we design and make modern plant accessories for houseplant enthusiasts across the UK. Today, our collection includes leak-proof semi-hydroponic planters, hand-finished Western Red Cedar plant trellises and thoughtfully designed accessories that combine practicality with contemporary style.

Our speciality is semi-hydroponic pots for growing houseplants in LECA and other semi-hydro substrates. Semi-hydroponics can help reduce common plant problems such as overwatering, underwatering and even pesky fungus gnats, while encouraging healthy root development. Whether you're completely new to semi-hydro or already growing your plants in LECA, our pots are designed to make the transition easy.

Every semi-hydroponic pot is personally designed by us and 3D printed in Cornwall using industrial-grade printers and eco-friendly, plant-based materials. The result is a beautifully finished, highly tactile planter that's built to last and looks right at home in any modern indoor space. Never handled a 3D printed piece before? We're sure you'll love them.

Alongside our 3D printed planters, we also create hand-finished Western Red Cedar plant trellises that celebrate the natural beauty and durability of the wood. Designed to support climbing and vining houseplants, our wooden trellises provide a stylish and functional way to help your plants thrive.

Since launching Solvi3D, our range has continued to grow, but our mission remains the same: creating thoughtfully designed plant products that help people enjoy their houseplants even more.

Every product is personally designed, made and finished by us right here in sunny Cornwall. As a small UK business, we're incredibly grateful for every order and every person who supports what we do. We hope our products become a small but meaningful part of your plant journey, and we'd love to connect with you on social media and see your plants thrive.
