The Simpla is a visible root self-watering planter combining a clear glass vessel with an internal 3D printed basket system to separate the growing medium from the water reservoir below.

Designed for semi-hydroponic growing, it allows roots to be clearly visible through the glass while maintaining a stable moisture system ideal for LECA and other mineral substrates.

The internal basket holds the growing medium above the water reservoir, while a wick system draws moisture upwards to support consistent hydration and healthy root development.

Unlike standard plastic self-watering planters, the Simpla uses a dishwasher-safe glass outer vessel combined with a removable internal basket system. This provides excellent visibility of root growth while maintaining clean separation between water and growing medium.

The Simpla is designed and manufactured exclusively by us in Cornwall, UK, and is assembled using our own original system design. It is available in a range of carefully selected colours.
